A&K Railroad ties are the highest quality used railroad ties on the market. Our grading system is as follows:

• #1 railroad ties – 3 good sides
• #2 railroad ties – 2 good sides
• #3 railroad ties – 1 good side

Railroad ties are generally straight, though an occasional slight twist is acceptable within each grade.

We sell railroad ties in bundles of 25 pieces, but you may request any quantity. Local delivery of up to 40 pieces is available using our small dump truck for a fee. For orders over 40 ties, please call for availability and delivery options.

Railroad ties are available in three sizes: 6x8, 7x8, and 7x9. Availability varies based on demand. Most ties are 8-foot lengths weighing between 75 and 130 pounds. Longer ties weigh more due to the additional length.
